Books I’ve Read & Loved This Month: March
I repeatedly fear the case being weighed at the airport check-in - it’s always over! Yes, I do it every time…I fill my case with paperback books, convinced every time I travel I’m going to read at least three from cover-to-cover. Although as contingency there are probably five titles packed sneakily between the layers of clothes. So my recent book-writing trip to Mallorca this spring was no different and here’s what I packed (and managed to read!):
MARCH READING LIST
What To Say When You Talk To Yourself by Shed Helmstetter
Straight up, this book is super small, hardly weighs a thing but is meaty in content. In fact, it was a page-turner from start to finish. I whiled away several hours by the spa pool engrossed in this book. It’s clever. It’s to the point and cuts out lots of nonsense. It’s going to be in my Top 10 from now on.
Letting Go by David R. Hawkins M.D., Ph.D.
This book is one to turn to when you want to do some deeper mindset work. It’s especially good if you’re willing to deep-dive into more significant patterns that may be holding you back from reaching your full potential. Embracing the act of ‘letting go’ of what is no longer serving us, never have and won’t in the future is one of the biggest aspects of personal growth that I have done - and continue to do so (this is never one we quite manage to tick off the list for good!). For this reason, this book is a core title I recommend to anyone that works with me looking to create real change in their lives, business and how they show up in the world. Brace yourself for this book - it’s GOOD!
If you've already read these titles, did you love them too? Or have you just hopped onto your favourite book store, Audible or Amazon and ordered yourself a copy? Share with me your breakthroughs, ah-ha moments and takeaways. I'd also love to know of any other great books you have read, loved and would be a great addition to our SSSB reading list.
